Obituary

June M. Rest (nee Rosenberg), 93, passed away on July 18. Beloved wife of the late Herbert for 63 years; loving mother of Neil, Daniel (Julie), Ruth, and Charlotte (Jonathan Kopp) Rest; adored grandmother of Deborah Kopp and Olivia Rest. June was a dedicated musician, music teacher, and proud Zionist. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM TODAY July 20 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of June. She was a dear neighbor on Arden Place. June and I were fellow pianists and enjoyed playing many duets together. Also a wonderful piano teacher for my daughter. I loved spending the many years of friendship with June and missed her when she moved from our neighborhood. Sincere condolences to the family.
